LAHORE – Asif Mehmood has replaced Aown Chaudhry as the new adviser to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar with immediate effect, a notification issued by the CM’s Office revealed on Friday.
“Mehmood shall act as the adviser to Punjab CM on affairs related to Punjab horticulture authorities (PHAs) and tourism,” read the notification.

Chaudhry, a close aide of Prime Minister Imran Khan, was appointed as an adviser to the Punjab chief minister in August last year.
He is a Lahore-based businessman and former husband of film actress Noor.
