ISLAMABAD – The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the offshore holdings of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children has summoned his son-in-law, Capt. (retd) Safdar, to appear on June 24 (Saturday) at 11: AM, GEO News reported here on Wednesday night.
Capt. (retd) Safdar will appear before the six-member JIT, headed by Federal Investigation Agency’s Additional Director Wajid Zia, eight days after the prime minister’s scheduled appearance.
Mr. Safdar has been asked to bring along with him relevant records/documents/material related to the Panama Papers case.
