Panama Case: JIT summons Capt. (retd) Safdar to appear on June 24th

ISLAMABAD – The Joint Inve­stigation Team (JIT) probing the offshore holdings of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children has summoned his son-in-law, Capt. (retd) Safdar, to appear on June 24 (Saturday) at 11: AM, GEO News reported here on Wednesday night.

Capt. (retd) Safdar will appear before the six-member JIT, headed by Federal Inves­tiga­tion Agency’s Addi­tional Director Wajid Zia, eight days after the prime minister’s scheduled appearance.

Mr. Safdar has been asked to bring along with him relevant records/documents/material related to the Panama Papers case.
