MONTREAL (Web Desk) – Pornhub, a porn website, has revealed the slightly surprising tastes of one of its fastest-growing groups of customers – WOMEN.
Women around the world love to watch gay sex – with lesbian porn topping the chart overall, and gay male sex in a close second place, UK’s Metro reported.
Woman actually watch more male gay porn than men, the site claims – and lesbian-related searches such as ‘tribbing’ and ‘scissoring’ are high up among women’s favourites.
The site, which recently updated its ‘What Women Want’ research on the subject, says that omen also seem to turn their noses up at larger ladies, Pornhub observes, with the BBW category – Big Beautiful Women – not ranking in the top 20 categories for women, and placing 13th for men.
In Britain, 21% of porn viewers are women.
Pornhub says that in some markets, nearly a third of viewers are women.
The site says, “We’ve since collected some new, specified data which breaks down the Pornhub viewership proportions by gender in our top 20 countries. Topping off this list is Brazil, which has an impressive 29% female viewership base, a solid 6% above the 23% world average.”
Other interesting statistics include the fact that the most searched-for ‘stars’ are celebrities who have suffered leaked sex tapes, such as Kim Kardashian – although Miley Cyrus ranked in the top 20 for both sexes.
Pornhub says, “Though other classics like Teen, MILF and Threesome pepper this list as well, it’s clear that the type of sex that women are most interested in watching occurs between members of the same sex.”
Lesbian sex is highly popular with women, the site observes – with lesbian videos being twice as likely to be watched by women as men.
‘Lesbian’ is the most searched-for term by women, whereas ‘teen’ is the most searched for term by men.
Other highly rated search terms for women reveal a distinct Sapphic leaning, with lesbian sex acts such as ‘tribbing’ and ‘lesbian scissoring’ ranking highly’, and the phrase ‘eating p***y’ 900% more likely to be searched by a woman than a man.
It’s perhaps worth noting here that Pornhub are relying on users being honest when they register their gender – which they may not be in all cases.
