Sajjad Ali brings us his latest single, titled ‘Lagaya Dil’ after providing us some amazing performances in Coke Studio Season 10. The new track is slow and melodious and follows the narrative of young love- the trials, tribulations and most importantly, the feeling love brings in our lives.
Set in a university setting, it follows a number of stories, however, like most love stories, most of them do not pan out very well. The video and lyrics perfectly encapsulates what it is like to be young and in love and consequently, what it feels like having your heart broken.
The 4 minute track is a good listen and Sajjad Ali’s vocals are brilliant as ever, however, to compare this song with Sajjad Ali’s previous hits would just not be fair.
Still, it is not everyday that the singer releases new music, and the song is definitely worth a listen;
