KARACHI – Pakistani YouTuber Maaz Safdar, known for his daily vlogs, faced a distressing incident in his new home in provincial capital Karachi, where he was targeted by a burglar.
In his recent vlog, the content creator explained how he and his family were in the process of moving into his new home, and while moving in, his sister reported missing items, including clothes, shoes and branded perfume.
The family was shocked when expensive jewelry was also discovered missing from a wardrobe. Upon probe, it became evident that theft was more extensive than initially thought. Moazzam’s brother revealed that they were unaware of the full extent of the missing valuables until they conducted a thorough check.
The watchman of their house also comes under probe after he was spotted leaving the empty house. He first refused any wrongdoing, but later acknowledged hiding items in a nearby place.
The suspect returned the stolen goods, which included household items, mobile phones, Apple Watches, and gold jewelry. Maaz praised Karachi police for their prompt response, noting that they arrived quickly after he called for help.
After the recovery, the YouTubers’s family decided against legal action against the watchman, choosing instead to forgive him in the name of Allah.
