Google Coding Contest Results: Pakistan at shameful position

The Google Coding Competition revealed its overall results, uncovering the best programmers in the globe.

Among South Asian nations, India came in at number six, while Bangladesh placed an astounding 29th. Unfortunately, Pakistan only succeeded in securing the 1336th spot.

Media reports attribute this to Pakistan’s underfunding of education, technology, and exposure to international coding platforms.

This rating highlights the pressing need for Pakistan to upgrade its IT infrastructure and foster innovation and technological adoption.

The outcomes of the Google Coding Competition demonstrate how important it is to fund research and innovation.

zThe impressive results of India and Bangladesh show the advantages of emphasising STEM education and digital transformation.
