MUMBAI – Bollywood’s super favourite ex-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor made a dazzling entrance as they walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra at Mijwan Fashion show. The show is conducted every year by Shabana Azmi as she hopes to create opportunities of employment for women by reviving the art of embroidery.
The duo looked like royalty as Ranbir donned a black sherwani with intricate embroidery and Deepika looked like a fairytale princess in a nude embellished outfit. She kept her look minimal, yet enticing, with nude makeup and statement earrings to match.
Ranbir spoke about sharing the stage with Deepika: “Deepika Padukone is amazingly talented, so beautiful. I have done films with her, I have been on reality shows with her. This is a different medium, I have never walked the ramp with her. She’s a professional at it; she started with modeling. So, I am excited.”

He also thanked Shabana Azmi for giving him the opportunity to be a part of the show, “My mother always taught me that a man is as good as the respect he shows a woman. A man is as good as the space he gives his wife, daughter, sister, mother to be whoever she wants to be. I’m genuinely trying to be that man.”
