SANAA – A Yemeni news anchor took his professionalism to the next level as he reported his brother’s death in a live news segment, earning praise from peers, earlier this week.
Mohamed al-Dhubyani, who is associated with the ‘Suhail’ channel read out the news of his brother’s killing referred to as ‘martyr Amin al-Dhubyani’ who lost his life at the hands of Houthi militiamen in Sanaa last Wednesday while keeping his composure intact.

‘Amin was flanked by dozens of other captured men used as human shields at a military police base’, Mohamed al-Dhubyani said in the report holding back his tears.
Let it be known that the incident might be first of its kind in Yemen, however, an incident of same nature happened back in April, this year, when a TV anchor from the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh read out breaking news of her husband’s death in a car accident.
