ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has received the first tranche of $6.5 million from the International Cricket Council (ICC) as part of annual profit revenue, it emerged on Saturday.
The cricket board is set to receive a total sum of $11.5 million but the first tranche has been submitted in its account though after a delay; the remaining amount is slated to be received soon.
The first payment would have been received by January, however the approval of 2017 and 2018 audit accounts caused delay, Express Tribune reported.
The board had sent a report to ICC following approval by the members of Governor Board of PCB in Lahore after which the first payment has been released.
