PASSCO releases 125,000 wheat bags for GB

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation Ltd (PASSCO) has released one hundred twenty-five thousand bags of wheat for Gilgit-Baltistan.

Gilgit-Baltistan Caretaker Minister for Food, Abdul Jehan while talking to media in Gilgit said the wheat will be transported to Gilgit-Baltistan within a week for onward distribution among people.

The Minister said the allocated amount for wheat in the federal budget for next financial year will be shifted to Gilgit-Baltistan government next month. He said the amount will be used to purchase wheat directly instead of PASSCO.
