Breathtaking : International commentators tour Lahore’s Walled City

LAHORE – A pair of foreign commentators for the third season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) took a ‘breathtaking’ tour of the historic city of Lahore on Tuesday.

Alan Wilkins, who hails from the United Kingdom, and Daren Ganga, from the West Indies, toured the historic sites along with former Pakistani batting legend Majid Khan.

The commentators were left mesmerised after the tour. Ganga and Wilkins shared on their respective social media accounts that the tour was ‘breathtaking’.

The West Indian commentator wrote: “Touring Lahore’s Old City today was breathtaking, seeing Shahi Hammam and the Wazir Khan Mosque alongside the Fmr. Pakistan Captain Majid Khan was divine…Pakistan Zindabad !!!”

Alan Wilkins and Daren Ganga will fulfill their duties in the PSL 3 eliminators in Lahore, before travelling to Karachi for the final on March 25.

Peshawar Zalmi are facing Quetta Gladiators in the first elimination match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore today.

The match marks the return of PSL action to Lahore after the historic city successfully hosted last year’s final in front of a roaring crowd of thousands.

Both Peshawar and Quetta have won 5 and lost 5 matches in this season’s league stage, but Peshawar edged out Quetta on Net Run Rate to get the third spot on the points table.

The winner of that match will face Islamabad United in the final in Karachi on March 25.
