ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Wednesday said that investigation on alleged RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) agent Kulbushan Yadav was still underway.
Briefing the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, Sartaj Aziz said that more evidence was being collected from the RAW agent.
He stated that dossiers about Indian involvement in subversive activities in Pakistan will be presented before the United Nations (UN) and other important countries after completion of investigation from detained RAW agent.
Sartaj Aziz also regretted Indian aggression on the Line of Control (LoC) in the aftermath of Uri attack that resulted in escalation of tension between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.
Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhary said that 45 Pakistani civilians had embraced martyrdom as a result of unprovoked Indian firing on the Line of Control.
He confirmed that United Nations was being informed about the violations by India.
The Foreign Secretary further noted that there were several UN resolutions on the Kashmir dispute. He said the international community should ramp up pressure on India for the implementation of these resolutions for resolution of issues in restive region.
