Shopping centre evacuated in Manchester, man arrested

MANCHESTER – Manchester’s Arndale shopping centre has been evacuated hours after a blast left 22 people dead on Monday night.

According to media reports, shoppers fled the shopping centre in panic on Tuesday morning over rumours of a bomb threat as the police arrested a 23-year-old man and shifted him to an undisclosed location.

The shopping centre is located hundreds of metres away from where a terrorist detonated a bomb in the Manchester Arena last night killing 2 while injuring over 50.

The blast happened at a concert hall with a seating capacity of around 21000 people, after the conclusion of an Ariana Grande concert. The incident jolted the British Kingdom leading to the suspension of the election campaign by Prime Minister Theresa May.

This is a developing story…
