BCCI president rules out possibility of Indo-Pak cricket

MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Anurag Thakur ruled out the possibility of resumption of Pak-India cricket on Friday.

According to media details, he said that there was no question of playing with Pakistan.

“There will be no cricket with Pakistan in the near future,” he appended.

In 2014, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and BCCI had signed a MoU under which they were scheduled to play six series in the 2015-2023

There has not been a series comprising of Tests, One Day International (ODIs) and T20 matches between the two countries since 2007-8.

The green shirts, visited their neighbours in a limited ODI series in 2012-13 which Pakistan won 2-1.

Last year, there were talks of a series in UAE or Sri Lanka but the authorities were failed to come to a conclusion on the venue.
