PSL 2017, 16th Match: Peshawar Zalmi beat Lahore Qalandars by 17 runs

DUBAI – Peshawar Zalmi beat Lahore Qalandars by 17 runs in the 16th match of the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) here on Friday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

Chasing a set a target of 167 runs,  Lahore Qalandars could score 149 runs on the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Lahore suffered early and lost 7 wickets merely 89 runs on the board in 10.4 overs.

CS Delport (32), SP Narine (21), BB McCullum (6), Mohammad Rizwan (4) and Umar Akmal (1) returned to the pavilion.

For Zalmi, Mohammad Hafeez picked up 2 wickets, Shakib Al Hassan 2 wickets, while Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz got one wicket respectively.

While batting for Zalmi, Kamran Akmal scored 58 runs off 40 balls, Shakib Al Hassan 30 runs off 24 balls, while MN Samuels made 17 runs off 21 balls.

On the other hand, Yasir Shah got two wickets, Aamer Yamin picked 1 wickets, while Sohail Tanveer bowled one player.

The match started at 04:30 PM Pakistan time, which corresponds to 04:00 PM Indian time, 12:00 GMT and 03:30 PM according to UAE time.
