DOHA – Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan was received by Prime Minister of Qatar Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani in Doha on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Imran Khan discussed matters of mutual interest with Qatar’s counterpart and ways to cement the ties between the two countries; the Pakistani leader made a stopover at Doha as he is heading back to the country on a commercial flight.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistani Syed Zulfi Bokhari, Advisor on Commerce and Trade Razzaq Dawood and Secretary Foreign Affairs Sohail Mehmood also flanked the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also met Qatar’s counterpart at his home after the stopover meeting.

Premier Khan headed to the US for a three-days official tour; he met President Trump at the White House and reiterated the need for a political solution to the Afghan war.
