PSL 2018, seventh match: Karachi beat Peshawar by five wickets

DUBAI – Karachi Kings beat Peshawar Zalmi by five wickets in the seventh match of the Pakistan Super League PSL at Dubai International Cricket Stadium here on Sunday.

Zalmi won the toss and decided to bat first as openers Kamran Akmal and Tamim Iqbal arrived at the crease. Akmal hit two boundaries and a maximum in the opening over by Wasim before Mohammad Amir dismissed him.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy won the toss and decided to bat first against Imad Wasim’s Karachi Kings.

Karachi played one match and one won while Peshawar played two fixture one won and one loss so far.

The fixture started at 9:00pm on PST. PTV Sports, Geo Super and Ten Sports are being broadcast live for the Pakistan and UAE citizens.
