It’s time for all superhero fans to welcome another A-list actor to the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Kit Harington!
He has joined his former Game of Thrones co-star Richard Madden in the upcoming Marvel movie The Eternals and it’s the Wolf Pack reunion we always wanted!
Richard Madden will star as Ikaris, an Eternal who named himself after his son Icarus – yes, from the Greek mythology.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that Harington would be playing the role of Dane Whitman, the third Black Knight. He will be one of the few non-Eternal characters in the film.
The star-studded Eternals also features Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjani, Salma Hayek, Brian Tyree Henry.
Harington will be well-prepared to join a massive movie franchise. After all, he just spent the last decade as the star of the world’s biggest TV series.
The movie is based on a series of comic books of the same name first published in 1976. They follow a group of immortal beings who spent time among humans, influencing their civilizations.
Directed by Chloé Zhao, The Eternals, is all set to premiere on Nov. 6, 2020.
