CPEC to help overcome energy crisis in Pakistan: Moody s

ISLAMABAD (Online) – Moody’s Investor Service, one of the three major international credit rating agencies has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project will help in overcoming energy crisis in Pakistan.

A report issued by Moody’s said growth will be witnessed in the industrial sector as result of steps taken by the government. The report said work on various power projects is underway and the allocations for these projects have been increased.

“The exports of Pakistan will also witness surge”, Moody’s added.
