ISLAMABAD (Online) – The Met Office has forecast rain-thundershowers with isolated heavy falls in various parts of the country today (Saturday).
Rain-thundershowers with isolated heavy falls likely at a number of places in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Kashmir, while at scattered places in FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and eastern Balochistan.
Heavy downpour may trigger flash flooding and landslides in the vulnerable areas of Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
According to synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. Monsoon low over south Rajasthan and adjoining areas now lies over south-west Rajasthan. A westerly wave also persists over upper parts of the country.
