PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri shifted to hospital as chest infection worsens

TORONTO – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri has been hospitalized in Toronto, Canada, his spokesman said on Sunday.

Spokesman Noorullah Siddiqui said that PAT Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri was being treated for chest infection at home for two days, but was shifted to a private hospital in Toronto after his condition deteriorated.

‘Further medical tests were being carried out at the hospital’, the spokesman said.

PAT leaders have appealed for prayers for speedy recovery of Dr. Qadri.
