ISLAMABAD – TV show host Shiffa Yousafzai has finally broken silence after rumours about her marriage with former energy minister and PTI leade, Hammad Azhar, made waves on social media.
The unverified claims of their marriage started circulating on social media after a couple of journalists made claims about it.
A day earlier, Azhar also issued a clarification on X, saying: “My name is being mentioned below your tweet… if something happens, I will inform you all in time”.
Now, Yousafzai has rejected the rumours fabricated and requested all users to stop participating in a witch hunt.
Taking to X, she wrote: “Dear All, Let it be clear, I have not married anyone! However the social media campaign, targeting me, reminds me, like it should remind, all working women, that how vulnerable a woman is in male dominated Pakistan always explaining her existence! (Btw this isn’t the first time I have been targeted like this)”.
“I would request all social media sites to delete this nonsense and all decent men & women to stop participating in a witch hunt Also a big thanks to all those who have been supportive,” she concluded.
