MUMBAI – Bollywood celebrity weddings have quickly become the hottest topic in town. The latest in the news are Sonam Kapoor and beau Anand Ahuja as rumors of their upcoming weddings have been afloat for quite sometime.
The wait is over. It’s happening, and it’s grandiose in every manner as expected.
But there are no physical invites for this wedding. Why, one may ask. According to reports, Sonam and her to be hubby Anand shall be sending e-invites to guests, to avoid wastage of paper. The invites will be customised and will have the names of the guests embossed on it. It is also being said that the e-card is spread along two pages with one green and other in beige colour. And to avoid gate-crashers, the guests will have to flash the invites on their phones for entry.
Now, isn’t that unique?
The wedding festivities are expected to kickstart from May 7 with mehndi and haldi ceremony to take place at Sonam’s BKC residence.
Sonam is currently busy in promotions of her upcoming movie Veere Di Wedding, releasing on June 1, 2018.
