PTI to file another reference against PM Nawaz

LAHORE (News Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to file another reference against Prime Minister Nawaz seeking his disqualification as Member National Assembly (MNA) for hiding foreign assets.

The reference will be filed in the Supreme Court under the sections 62 and 63 of the Constitution of Pakistan.

According to details, PTI is all set to utilise all available options to push government for an investigation into the Panama Papers leak which exposed Sharif Family’s offshore companies in British Virgin Islands.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore, PTI chairman Imran Khan announced that he was ready to present himself for accountability and that PM Nawaz Sharif should also do the same.

On the occasion, he also urged all other political parties to join his party’s Accountability Movement against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Previously, PTI as well as Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Awami Muslim League (AML) filed separate references against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The references are are yet to be settled by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
