RAWALPINDI – Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, who has recently taken charge as the 16th military head has said that situation at Line of Control would soon improve.
Talking informally to newsmen for the first time after the change of commands ceremony, COAS said that he was handed over a huge responsibility for which he asked masses to pray for him.
He expressed that media should boost morale of Pakistan Army. He urged media to support him in future adding that it should not promote frustration. He said he will soon have an interactive session with journalists
Army chief also greeted the participants of ceremony where scores of civilians took selfies with him.
Earlier, Gen Raheel Sharif passed the baton to Gen Qamar Bajwa at hockey stadium GHQ. Civil-military officials attended the prestigious ceremony.
