We are sorry for what happened in Mumbai, BCCI to PCB

DELHI (Web Desk) – The Indian cricket board has extended apology to Pakistan over Mumbai incident, where dozens of thugs belonging to the Hindu extremist Shiv Sena stormed BCCI to disrupt planned talks on resuming Pak-India matches.

In a letter to Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President, Shashank Manohar apologised over the fiasco, saying, “they are sorry for what happened in Mumbai.”

The BCCI president said, the board had written a letter to the Indian government for Pak-India series, however, its fate will be decided by the latter.

The BCCI letter does not mention negotiations over Pak-India series in future.
