ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan on Thursday captured an Indian soldier on its side of Line of Control (LoC), Indian media reported.
“It is confirmed one soldier from 37 Rashtriya Rifles with weapons has inadvertently crossed over to the Pakistan side of the LoC.” an Indian army official in New Delhi said.

On the other hand, the military’s media wing, ISPR denied that an Indian soldier was in Pakistan Army’s custody.
Earlier, Indian forces violated ceasefire in Bhimbher, Lipa and Keel sectors, targeting Pakistani positions as a result two Pakistani soldiers were martyred and a citizen was injured.
Pakistani forces also befittingly responded to the Indian ceasefire violations and used light artillery. The cross-border firing continued for some three hours.
