Chinese company to set up a 1263mw LNG power plant in Jhang

JHANG – A Chinese company will set up a 1263-megawatt LNG-fueled power plant in Jhang. An agreement to this effect was signed between the company and Punjab Government in Lahore on Friday.

The project will be completed in twenty-six months, and it will start generating 810mw within fourteen months.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said load-shedding will be eliminated forever due to concrete measures taken by the PML (N) government.
