Hafeez cheated by property dealers, reaches police station to file case

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Hafeez on Wednesday filed a complaint with police after he was cheated by property dealers in Defense Housing Authority in Lahore.

The cricketer submitted the application to the Senior Superintendent Police of Central Investigation Agency.

According to Hafeez the property agents took Rs 3.25 crore from him for an 8 Marla plot in DHA but they never delivered legal papers of the property.

The cricketer, who is facing a 12-month ban by ICC for illegal bowling action, further said that Rs 1.25 crore have been recovered while Rs 2 crore are stille not returned by the dealers.

The police said that appropriate action would be taken on the request of national cricketer.
