LAHORE (Online) – The aunt of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, mother-in-law of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and grandmother of Hamza Shahbaz Sharif passed away here in Ittefaq hospital Lahore on Saturday.
She was also the elder sister of PML-N central leader Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan and aunt of Federal Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali.
The deceased, Begum Miraj-ud-Din, was under treatment of senior physicians at the Ittefaq hospital for the last few days due to illness.
PM Nawaz Sharif and CM Shahbaz Sharif have given up all their official engagements following her death.
Besides this, parliamentarians hailing from Faisalabad, traders, industrialists, journalists and leaders and activists of all political parties have expressed their condolences with Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan, Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali Khan and their family members.
