India to make final decision on Pakistan series next month

NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – The board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) Vice President TC Mathew has once again given positive signal about series against Pakistan saying, October could be the month when India makes some final decision in this regard.

According to an international news agency, Mathew said “Look it’s only September and the series is scheduled in December so maybe in October they could make a call”. United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a perfect venue for any upcoming series against Pakistan, he added.

While commenting about Pakistan-India politics he explained, “I’m against bringing politics into sports and should treat them separately from politics. The Pak-India ties are always a welcome move and the people of both countries want to see their national teams play against each other.

Meanwhile Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar Khan has said the Pakistan would not be asking India to play a series sacrificing its self-respect.

Pakistan and India are scheduled to play an ODI series in December this year however the political statements across the border are a major hurdle in way of any such series.
