Younis Khan likely to join ODI squad against England

LAHORE (Staff Report) – As the veteran cricketer Younis Khan becomes the first Pakistani to score 9,000 runs in Test format, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to include him in ODI squad for England series.

According to sources, the decision has been made keeping in view the recent achievements and excellent form of legendary cricketer. By including Younis Khan in ODI squad once again PCB wants give him a chance to retire from one-dayers in a respectful way, the sources added.

Younis Khan crossed former captains Javed Miandad and Inzamam-ul-Haq in first Test game against England, to become top-scorer of Pakistan.

In the following game he also became the first Pakistani to score 9,000 runs in Test format of cricket. He scored 112 runs, his career’s 31st one-hundred, becoming the tenth top Test cricketer in history.
