SHARJAH (Staff Report) – Pakistani fast bowler Imran Khan has been injured during a practice session at Sharjah cricket stadium, just a day before third Test match against England.
The cricketer will not be able to participate in the final match of Test series.
According to media reports Khan was rushed to a nearby hospital following an injury on Friday. The cricketer’s finger and thumb of right hand is severely injured in the incident.
Third Test game between Pakistan and England is due to start from Sunday at Sharjah cricket stadium.
England’s Mark Wood is also expected to miss the match due to ankle injury.
