Pakistan won 1st ODI against England by 6 wickets

ABU DHABI (Web Desk) – Muhammad Hafeez was declared man of the match for his excellent performance. Muhammad Hafeez scored 102 runs 102 runs from 130 balls and remained not out. Babar Azam was also played a superb inning of 62 runs from 62 balls not out.

First One day international match of 4 One day matches series between Pakistan and England was played at Abu Dhabi U.A.E. England decided to bat first England lost some early wickets. Opening batsman Roy was out without scoring any run. Root was also unable to score any single run.  Morgan scored 76 runs Taylor made 60 runs for England.

Mohammad Irfan took 3 wickets, Anwar Ali and Shoaib Malik were able to take two wickets for Pakistan. England team was able 216 runs from 49.4 overs when their team was all out by superb bowling by Pakistani bowlers.

Pakistan started its inning in reply to England total of 216 runs. Pakistan needed 217 runs to win the first ODI match against England. Captain Azhar Ali and Bilal Asif started the inning of Pakistan but both batsmen were out without scoring any good score. Azhar was out after scoring 8 runs, while Bilal Asif made 2 runs only.

Muhammad Hafeez at this stage controlled the match and started playing sensibly. He played a great inning for Pakistan. Younis Khan declared retirement from ODI Cricket could score 9 runs only in his last ODI match against England. Shoaib Malik could score 26 runs for Pakistan. Babar Azam came in to bat after Shoaib Malik. Babar Azam with Muhammad Hafeez continued scoring for Pakistan.
