DUBAI (Staff Report) – International Cricket Council (ICC) Sunday banned West Indian cricketer Sunil Narine from bowling with immediate affect.
Announcing the result of bio-mechanical bowling test of the cricketer ICC declared his action illegal.
The off-spinner reported for having illegal bowling action during the third ODI game against Sri Lanka at Pallekele cricket stadium on November 9.
The ICC had asked Narine to undergo a bowling test with in 14 days saying that he was allowed to bowl once until the result of examination.
It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that his bowling action was suspected to be illegal during Indian Premier League (IPL) firstly. This is the first time when he has been reported in an international game.
