GILGIT (APP) – A woman was killed and five children were injured when a landslide caused by Friday night’s 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit their house in Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The injured have been shifted to Gupis civil hospital.
Traffic between Gilgit-Rawalpindi on Karakoram Highway was also blocked due to landslide at Harban Nallah in Kohistan.
Media reports suggest that at least fifty people were injured in earthquake related incidents in different parts of country. Damages to several houses in KPK and Balochistan were also recorded.
