England Captain Ben Stokes Likely To Miss First Test Against Pakistan

England cricket team captain Ben Stokes’ participation in the first Test match against Pakistan has yet to be decided.

According to media reports, Stokes’ participation in the Test match against Pakistan, which begins on October 7 in Multan, is uncertain.

The media report mentioned that England will have to wait longer for Stokes’ availability for the first Test, and in his absence, Ollie Pope will lead the team.

Traditionally, England announces their playing eleven two days before a Test match, and the announcement for the playing eleven against Pakistan is expected on Saturday.

Earlier, former England captain Nasser Hussain has said that it would be foolish to think that England can easily defeat Pakistan.

It is noteworthy that Ben Stokes suffered a hamstring injury during The Hundred league, which prevented him from playing in the Test series against Sri Lanka.

England batsman Zak Crawley said that they are still unsure about Stokes’ participation. He appears to be fine and is recovering from the injury, but Crawley believes there are more tests to be done.

It is worth noting that the England cricket team has arrived in Pakistan for a three-match Test series.
