World’s Top 10 Richest Cricketers in 2016

LAHORE – Many of cricket fans know Australian cricketers are the highest paid athletes in their country but when compared to their Indian rivals their salary seems a bit less.

Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and vice-captain Virat Kohli are earning more than triple that of their Australian rivals each year.

Here is a list of ten highest paid cricketers:

 

MS Dhoni

Dhoni, according to Forbes, has retained the number 1 spot in the list of richest cricketers, since 2009.

The Team India captain, with $65 million net worth, holds the top spot in terms of highest yearly income for best part of last 9 years largely become highly lucrative domestic endorsement deals.

Virat Kohli

India’s Test captain Virat Kohli, is just behind MS Dhoni, with a net worth of $46 million.

Salary: $3.1 million
