ABU DHABI – India defeated Oman by 21 runs in the 12th match of the Asia Cup 2025.
In the match played in Abu Dhabi, Oman, chasing a target of 189, managed to score 167 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
From Oman, Aamir Kaleem top-scored with 64 runs. Hammad Mirza scored 51, captain Jatinder Singh 32, and Vinayak Shukla was dismissed for 1.
Jiten Ramanandi remained unbeaten on 12, while Zakariya Islam was not out on 0.
For India, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana, and Arshdeep Singh took one wicket each.
Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, India scored 188 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
From India, Sanju Samson was the top scorer with 56 runs. Abhishek Sharma made 38, Tilak Varma 29, Axar Patel 26, Shubman Gill 5, Shivam Dube 5, Hardik Pandya 1, and Arshdeep Singh 1 run.
Harshit Rana remained unbeaten on 13, while Kuldeep Yadav was not out on 1.
From Oman, Shah Faisal, Aamir Kaleem, and Jiten Ramanandi took 2 wickets each.
