LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Leader Shafqat Mehmood exposed the contradictions in Prime Minister Statements with supporting documents in a television talk show late on Monday (yesterday).
The PTI leader said that while Hussain Nawaz admitted to owning the off shore companies listed in the Panama Papers, it was unclear who owned these companies before him.
He also indicated towards irregularities in Maryam Nawaz’s assets. He said that the PM had mentioned Maryam Nawaz as dependent in the nomination papers he filed for the 2013 General Elections, which declared that the PM’s daighter had agricultural land worth only Rs. 20.5 million in her name without mentioning that she was also beneficial owner of an offshore company, as earlier confirmed by Hussain Nawaz in an interview.
Shafqat went on to allege that PM Nawaz had concealed the assets of his daughter.
