Bus fire kills 30 in central China

BEIJING (News Desk) – At least 30 people have died while over 20 others were severely injured when a bus suddenly burst into flames in Yizhang County of China’s Hunan province.

According to reports, the accident took place at about 10:20 am (Local Time). The bus was carrying 56 people, including passengers and bus crew.

The cause of the fire is still unclear. However, initial investigations suggest that an oil leak may have ignited the flames.

At least 30 dead bodies and 21 injured people have been shifted to hospital during the rescue operation.

The authorities have detained the driver of the bus for further investigation.
