Pakistan’s young squash player Umer Arif has won the Under-17 title at the Hong Kong Junior Squash Open.
In the Under-17 final, Umer defeated England’s Luke McBride 3-2 in a closely contested match.
Umer won the final 4-11, 11-6, 11-5, 9-11, 11-4.
The young player has previously represented Pakistan at the World Junior and Asian Junior Squash Championships. He is also a fellow of the Bilquis and Abdul Razak Dawood Foundation.
