ISLAMABAD – The government has significantly reduced liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices and notified new rates for the Sui Northern and Sui Southern gas systems.
For the Sui Northern system, the LNG price has been cut by $6.81 per million British thermal units (MMBtu), bringing the new rate to $19.03 per MMBtu from $25.84.
For the Sui Southern system, the price has been reduced by $6.95 per MMBtu to $18.13, compared with the previous rate of $25.08 per MMBtu.
