LONDON – Britain has surfaced as the second largest exporter of weapons after the United States, as the country sold arms worth €8 billion to the states accused of human rights violations during the last five years.
According to the British media reports, from 2010 to 2015 the Great Britain also issued the arms export licenses of over 210 billion euros to other countries.
Most of the weapons were exported to the Middle Eastern countries which are undergoing the chaotic situations since last decade.
It is also worth mentioning here that apart from the United States, Russia and China were two other major exporters of ammunition, however, the United Kingdon surpassed the countries during last ten years.
