LAHORE (Web Desk) – Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif ordered investigation into the incident of death of five children due to diphtheria during last few days in nearby villages of Kasur.
He said that emergent steps should be needed for overcoming the disease and vaccination of children completed at the earliest.
He read that teams of Health, Department should perform duty actively and spare no effort in containing the disease.
He stated that a detailed report should be taken regarding the spread of disease and the responsible of negligence be determined and action be adopted against them.
The Chief Minister expressed sorrow and grief with the bereaved families of the children.
