ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has signed two new agreements with the European Union (EU) to achieve sustainable development goals in socio-economic sectors.
According tot statement, Secretary Economic Affairs Division Tariq Bajwa and the EU ambassador Jean-François Cautain signed the agreements on Friday in Islamabad.
Under the agreements, the European Union will give €83 million to Pakistan for development of educational and social infrastructures.
Out of the total amount, some €40 million will be used for improvement of technical education and training while €34 million will be spent for rehabilitation of homeless people.
