PARIS – Prince Bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s deputy crown prince, during his vacations in Paris bought a 440-foot yacht for $550 million.

According to New York Times, Prince bin Salman during vacationing in France spotted a 440-foot yacht floating off the coast. Unable to resist the ship, he dispatched an aide to buy the ship, the Serene, which was owned by Yuri Shefler, a Russian vodka tycoon.
According to an associate of Mr. Shefler and a Saudi close to the royal family, the deal was done within hours, at a price of roughly $550 million. The Russian moved off the yacht the same day.
It’s pertinent to note that the prince Bin Salman has emerged as a new bold public figure in Kigdom, who is involved in every major element of Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy. Many people believe that he is the aspirant of the power and is the next occupant of the throne, attracting praise and antagonism simultaneously.
