AUGUSTA (UPI) – Wildlife officials in Maine are offering $500 for information about buckets of soiled adult diapers dumped along a pair of streams in the state.
The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife said more than 24 buckets of dirty diapers have been found in multiple locations along Wilson Stream in Wilton and Temple Stream in Farmington.
Maine Game Wardens are offering a $500 reward for information about whoever is doing the dumping, the department said.
The department said the diapers were found in bright orange 5-gallon buckets from Home Depot.
