Saudi Arabia bans transgenders from Umrah pilgrimage

RIYADH – The Saudi Arabia has imposed a ban on allowing transgender people a visa for Umrah pilgrimage, according to an official notification.

Saudi Consul General in Islamabad issued a notification on Monday prohibiting transgenders from getting visa for Umrah pilgrimage.

The notification was issued to travel agents’ association.
