ISLAMABAD – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Chitral to Islamabad plane pilot’s last message details have been revealed.
Captain Saleh Janjua and Co-pilot First Officer Ali Akram were operating the unfortunate flight, while Ahmed Janjua was a trainee pilot.
Civil Aviation sources said that the pilot had contacted near Havelian and sent a “Mayday” call to the control tower and informed them that the plane is going through a technical problem.
According to the aviation experts, ‘Mayday’ is an emergency procedure word used internationally as a distress signal in voice procedure radio communications. It is used to signal a life-threatening emergency primarily by aviators. The call is always given
